How It Began
In 2019, after returning from a two-month road trip across all ten Canadian provinces, our founder sat with over eight thousand photographs and realized something uncomfortable. Without curation, without intention, these images would eventually become just another backup folder.
That realization sparked Basin-ware. We began offering photobook creation services to fellow travellers who wanted their journeys preserved with the same care they put into experiencing them.
What started as a small operation in a Vancouver apartment has grown into a dedicated studio where designers, curators, and printing specialists collaborate to transform travel photograph collections into lasting artifacts.
